Still remember on tuesday when Mr Lim talk about this guy named GUSTAV MAHLER ?
Since everyone is quite impress by his work , his life and about his symphony No. 2 ,
I've done some research on him and heard some of his work in youtube !
Symphony No.2 That he created is really awsome !

Hey. Anyone want to buy the SYF photos?

It looks something like this :

Price:
Super 6R [15 cm x 22 cm] = $ 12
Super 8R [20 cm x 30 cm] = $ 15
Super 12R [30 cm x 45 cm] = $ 60
Super 16R [40 cm x 60 cm] = $180

We need a minimum of 70% of the band to buy the photos.

If you want to purchase, please let Winsome know asap.
Winsome will get the money from you guys when it's needed.
She's only taking the orders now.

Good day people.
Band practice will be resuming on the 28th July, Tuesday for the seniors.
Junior band practice will resume on the 27th July, Monday.

Do note that we'll be conducting a test on Saturday for the seniors. Please practice all your NDP songs and also for your test.
CA3 is next week, all the best! But don't forget to practice!

The weather this few days are just crazy . How I wish that i could kill the weather .
Do really takecare of yourself . Drink More water and try not to go under the hot sun for a long time .

Hi all! As you guys already know, there is no practice till further notice due to the H1N1 crisis.

We feel that this period is the best time for everyone to train and get back to their basics so we're having a mini basic test when band resumes. Please practice hard!

What will be tested:

- 7 Basic Major Scales - Ab,Bb,C,D,Eb,F,G.

- 7 Basic Major Arpeggios - Ab,Bb,C,D,Eb,F,G.

- Chromatic Scales starting on any note.

- Basic Rhythm Test.

- Score Reading.

Also, there is Arts Fiesta rehearsals in the first week when school reopens!
Attendance is COMPULSORY! and we hope to achieve FULL ATTENDANCE!

Rehearsal days are on the TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY of the first week of school.

See you all then!

Meanwhile, PRACTICE HARD! REST WELL! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
